My Healing From the Cornell 7

The intention of this post is for my own healing, and hopefully it will help some others along the way. It is rare for something to hit me this strongly, and when it does, I know that there is something for me to see.

I want to address what happened or what is currently happening with the “Cornell 7” and how it is affecting me

By the time this blog is published, new evidence may have emerged, but I am addressing it from about day 3 of it being really public on social media.

I want to say that my heart is addressing this. My heart is asking for help and support in understanding how not only is this still happening, but why men need “evidence” before they are willing to stand up for women’s rights. Why do we need to be evidentially solid before we can be seen or heard? I’ve asked men to take a stand for women, in this particular case, on my social media.

I would like to post some of the responses that hurt me deeply:

“She wrote an essay from what I heard admitting to engaging in drinking, drugs, and sex willingly. I don't know what to believe. I wasn't there. I just heard about it on the radio this morning.”  “So you were there? All of you? Nope. I gave my opinion. It's as true as yours.”

“The Cornell internal investigation and outcome was generated by a faculty trained panel (not sure what that training is or was). 2nd, there were more consequences handed down then just some essay. While formal charges were never filed, some of the students were still expelled. 3rd, the initial statement by the victim identified voluntary drug, alcohol and sexual activity.”

“Obviously no one condones being dismissive of any crime of violence, but jury by internet is a dangerous thing.”

“She signed a sworn statement at the time stating it was consensual and voluntary. Sorry, no rape, just an orgy.”

“Ridiculously lame punishment. Castration should be in the conversation imo.

I stand corrected, as there are more details I didn't know.

Nolte: Cornell University Gang Rape Story Looks Like Another Hoax

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2026/09/29/nolte-cornell-university-gang-rape-story-looks-like-another-hoax/”

“… But rape accusations have also happened for money and to ruin reputations or revenge. … I've been in the presence of women who asked to have a train run on them. Maybe it started that way and she changed her mind. I wasn't there. I'm getting scolded for my opinion.”

Now, this is solid evidence that men are not willing to go that extra mile for women

Men need to understand that aggravated rape is not something women want to talk about. It’s not something women want to expose. It’s not something women want to have to reveal about themselves. This is a case of men not standing up for women, plain and simple.

Why I need to reveal it within myself is because I need to address the extreme disappointment I am experiencing with most men at this time

I am seeing that a lot of men are weak, vulnerable and afraid. This is ok. They are allowed to be. For goodness sake, we all have so much to heal. What I have to recognize within me is that I have outsourced my own power because they have presented themselves as the strong ones, the powerful ones, the ones who can heal me and help me.

I have not recognized that they are actually quite afraid. That is my downfall in this case. I have given my power away. I have given my power away since I was a child. I trusted that the men in my life would protect me. I trusted that they would be ok, meaning they wouldn’t harm me in any way. I trusted that they would leave me with something solid and loving to stand upon.

What I didn’t realize is that they are just as harmed as me. They are just as scared, afraid and stumbling through the dark as I have been. I really thought that some man, some knight in shining armor, would come along some day and save me, would free me from my pain. I put them up on a pedestal and expected them to stay solid there, in that place.

What I didn’t realize is that they, as I am, are in pain. They can’t hide behind the barrier of “I’m better” anymore because I see. I see that I am in pain and until I heal this, I can’t be free. Men wanted to be the better man, the nicer man, the powerful presence in our lives that deserves respect and honor.

Of course I am not talking about all men, and the women are not all like me. But the attraction of these types of comments makes me look deeper at what I need to release. Have I ever attracted a man who stood in his true power and grace? Have I ever attracted a man who needs to be free with me, beside me, in his grace?

Have I ever attracted a man who would stand with this woman because his heart tells him this is free. The things that are happening are deepening society’s longing for change. I want to find a man who would stand with me in saving this girl, whose courage would match my inner determination for change.

It isn’t about changing society. It’s about changing me.

From this, a new premise is seen.

There are good men standing up for the rights of this woman. They don’t need proof that she didn’t provoke a mass orgy. Women understand. Women have been there. Women can see. There is not one question in my mind that this woman experienced rape and extreme misogyny. I have to understand that men are not there yet, but they can change.

There are men who can purify their minds and step into this state with me. There are men who can understand a woman’s body and escape the misogynistic patriarchy. There are men who I can see standing beside me. There are men who I can see rising above all of this shame.

Why am I still attracting the ones who are not? Well, to be honest, there were also some supportive comments. There was someone who made his own post in response to me asking men to stand up and speak. And I appreciate these energies so much.

I am grateful to see the energy I am still holding inside of me that brings these misogynistic energies to me.  I am ready to heal and I am ready to see new types of energies coming towards me.

Thank you to the men who have stood up and who are standing up and speaking for women’s liberty. I will heal to bring myself into your energetic exchange. I am excited to share this energy freely in an open Shiva Shakti exchange.

Love Always!
