My Beloved Is Home

Home is where we have come from
Home is where we are going
It may not make sense to those around us
who we choose to call home
But we know within our heart
who we've been with before
And who will call us back
again and again
to their heart

Age, race, religion, culture
are mental walls
that make us think
that we are far from
the one we love
But the truth will be seen
in the heart of hearts
where God is one with us
and we are alone
with the one we love
Home
