Divine Love and Personal Love

divine love and personal love

Divine Love is perfect and free. Personal Love can be jagged and strange when we aren’t loving through the Grace of God’s Divinity.

What Is Personal Love?

Personal love is that kind of love you feel when you haven’t seen someone for a while and you miss them deeply, or you’re longing for someone’s presence in your life or you miss someone so deeply and they aren’t around any more. This is the kind of love that we might say is attached to another being. It isn’t bad to have personal love. It can be kind and sweet and gratifying if it is fulfilled. And if we are happy whether it is fulfilled or not, we can see that God’s grace is in us always.

But wouldn’t it be nice to feel that love for a person even if we can’t be with them, even if we don’t know them, even if they’ve passed away? I found myself yearning for someone the other morning because I had had an intimate dream with them and woke up to realize that it was not in this reality. This sent me deep into the enquiry of why. Why does the feeling vary so diversely from one moment to the next? I haven’t changed. The love inside of me hasn’t changed. The intimate connection hasn’t even changed because it existed only moments before on another plane.

So I’ve wondered if I can take this deeper longing for the love of God into the intimate connections in my life, whether realized in this reality or not.

What is The Meaning of Divine Love?

Divine Love is holy. Holy love is pure. Holy means Divine ultimately. How deep into the inward journey can we go? There is a place inside of us that is holy and divine. What is that space? Is it God? Is it Love? Is it Pure? When we touch it, we know that we are pure, divine and free. We know that feeling as Love. In the intimate space within our heart, there is a yearning that can only be fulfilled by God’s Love or Divine Love. So what is it about personal love that pulls so deeply on our heart?

How Do You Show Divine Love?

Perhaps there is a clue in the above question. Perhaps there is something longing within us so deeply that God shows us a way to express it in this reality. Perhaps it isn’t about personal love vs divine love, but rather personal love in divine love. What if the longing within us is so deep for God that we decide we want to feel that love in the world? What if our heart space can resonate so deeply with another person’s heart? What does it mean when we say “I love you” to another being? There is a love so deep within us that it is touching the very essence of who we are. Is that love divine? Is it personal? Where do we draw the line when we are so far in it?

To show it is to be it. To be it is to be divine.

Why Does Personal Love Hurt While Divine Love Is Completely Fulfilling?

Have we forgotten who we truly are? Have we forgotten that we are, in essence, the God that we are longing for? Have we forgotten that we are that Love so deeply within our being that we don’t need another being to show us that love? We need only see the being as love. We need only see the being as love and then we become love with that being. Can anything be lost in that perfect space of union in the heart?

Even if that being walks away, dies or forsakes us in some way, it doesn’t matter if we are one with them in the heart. If we are one with someone in the heart, we are always one. There is no space or time that can separate us in God’s Love. So let them go. Let them walk on their own. Let them fly to the stars beyond this time. There is only one place to be in the heart of hearts and that is pure love.

It feels like love has left when they leave, but how could it be? There is only one love. And that is love of love of the divine. Can I feel it in my heart? It is deep down in there and it is forever free.

Hurting Can Be Freeing

Do you long to know the divine love that is underneath the hurt? When it hurts so badly that we can’t see, we must go into a deeper space. Why do we think we’ve lost someone when they’ve walked away? Isn’t it true that we are all one in divine reality? Do we have the courage and the patience to sit with the hurt? This is what I’ve been doing all week since I had that dream. What happens when we see deeper than the hurt? There is a deep pool of love that we can dive into with all of our exploratory qualities of grace. This love is real. This love is pure. This love is divine.

Does it happen right away? Probably not. Maybe if you’ve been doing this work for a long time. But isn’t it worth it to get to the state of oneness that is beyond the fear of losing someone, that is beyond the state of loss because loss can’t be seen in the state of love?

I haven’t achieved this state yet purely, all the time. I haven’t actively allowed myself to dive into those waters of love even when the person I’m wanting has gone away. But I achieve those moments often in my every day reality. And I will continue to pursue the deeper state of love until it doesn’t hurt any more, until there is only love. What a divine, beloved blessing the hurt has become.

Do you need guidance in diving deeper into your own state of love? I would love to help you dive deeper into your heart because it only helps me to dive deeper into my own.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would like to say that I love love. I love the way it feels when I am in love. I love the feeling of divine love that can’t be surpassed by anything on this earth plane. I love that love is nothing to be held onto, but rather a state of unceasing divinity and truth. And I love that the concept of love is only real when we are in it, truly in it, and that the personal is dissolved into the divine in that space of true love. So in what space of love can the personal be discluded from the divine? It cannot.
