My musical journey has been inspired by grace and love since I was in my late 20s. I was always wanting to do something deeper than what I was, but I did not know how to find that place in me. When my Kundalini was awakened at the age of 27, that inspiration really started to spark creatively in me.

I was chanting at the ashram where I was staying and then I started writing songs. These were different than the songs I had been writing previously. It was like a fire was lit by the Shakti’s grace. As I traveled through life after this, I always wrote songs about my experiences, mostly about love and life and what I was feeling in the moment. After my Kundalini awakening in Nashville, TN, I moved back to San Franisco where I had spent time in my early twenties, then back to Los Angeles where I had been heavily involved in the music scene as the wife of a rock n roll drummer. I was modeling, acting and playing music in L.A., but something wasn’t right within me still. I met a spiritual teacher in Santa Fe, NM and ended up moving in with his community for a few years. There I wrote a lot of songs, as I had time to sit alone in the desert and reflect.

After three years in Santa Fe, I moved back to my hometown of Williamsport PA to take care of my mom who was undergoing back surgery. Here, I met a wonderful guitar teacher who I studied with as a part of his music school, The Uptown Music Collective. He really helped me with refining the songs I had written already and inspired me to write more.

At the school, I met an experimental guitar player who I fell in love with musically. I always called him my musical soul mate. We started creating together and playing gigs, and then the director of the school proposed the idea of recording an album. He brought in some amazing local musicians and the end product was the album, “Strange Afternoon” by our band “Infinite Bliss”.

I had about 30 songs that we weeded down to 12 and Dave brought the sounds together into a deeply touching orchestration of all of these awesome talents.

Shortly after the album was recorded, I became pregnant with my first child, Tixo. My creativity waned with a newborn in my care and I didn’t have what it took to make the album a success, although I feel that it absolutely deserved it.

Cut to twenty years later. My son is now eighteen. I also have a thirteen year old daughter. Tixo graduated from the very same music school last year and Lotus is now growing up singing and playing piano in this school. And I am inspired again to play with my music. Really inspired.

I am writing new songs on the piano now. This was my instrument as a child, but I had to work through some old trauma to come back to it. I am excited to record these songs later this year, and hoping to bring in the producer who will feel my vision with me. I will be sharing acoustic versions of these songs throughout the year on my social channels.

But… I also remembered this fabulous album we had created twenty years ago. Why should she be dropped because time has gone by? Alex Callenberger, the guitar player, is now living across the country and has his own little one on the way. I have lost touch with Andy Seal, the bass player. Steve Mitchell, the drummer, has crossed the rainbow bridge. It was such an honor to work with Steve. A couple of fun facts about him; he was the inspiration for Animal on the Muppets, and he played on those old Charlie Brown tunes. What a blessing it was to work with him and everyone on the album. Although we are all dispersed into different parts of the world and the Universe, I still believe this is the time to redeliver this music to the world.

So, I am making the album available on Spotify, and other streaming platforms. I am relearning the songs on piano to add in to my live sets and I’ll post some acoustic versions on my socials as well. Time is irrelevant in this world we are living in, so I am treating her as if she has just been birthed, and will welcome her in to the new music that is being created.

I am also working on an electronic project with my son, Tixo. He is a drum and bass producer whose music can be found on Spotify under the name Syndex. Although our musical styles are very different, we are going to try out a collaboration where I create some tracks on Ableton Live and pass them on to him to create some cool ecstatic dance tracks. The first track is called “Same” and will be released on March 16, 2026.

Spotify and YouTube are where I will be releasing anything new, so please follow me there to see what is coming.

It’s worth noting that, I will be searching for my new band and producer this year, so If you feel called or inspired by my music, and feel to join me, connect.
